- Daintree Rainforest
- A day on the Great Barrier Reef
- Atherton Tablelands
- Paronella Park
You can enjoy this tour package in the order that suits you best.
It will leave you mystified as it takes you on an exciting journey to visit the Daintree Rainforest, The Great Barrier Reef and the famous Atherton Tablelands and Waterfalls. Here’s a sample itinerary:
DAY 1: Cape Tribulation and Daintree Rainforest
First, explore the UNESCO-listed Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Parks.
This tour visits Cape Tribulation within the Daintree Rainforest. Discover this World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest. Here you will learn about the history, flora and fauna of the Daintree Rainforest.
Along the way, visit Mossman Gorge and enjoy a Daintree River cruise. Crossing the Daintree River, which takes you across the river into the heart of the “Wet Tropics Rainforest” is a must.
DAY 2: Great Barrier Reef with Reef Experience
Next, visit the Great Barrier Reef. This local family-owned and operated tour is the best way to see the Great Barrier Reef.
While snorkelling on the outer Reef, you will see abundant brightly coloured marine life and corals. During your time on the Reef, you can see parrotfish, turtles and clownfish.
Try scuba diving
You can try scuba diving if you are fit, healthy, and over 12 years old. With a quick lesson, we will have you breathing underwater in no time.
Today, you will be welcomed onboard Reef Experience. This tour is Cairns’ only ALL-inclusive Great Barrier Reef Cruise.
If you are not confident in the water
Undoubtedly, the best place to see the Reef is in the water. This crew will assist you in seeing the best of the Reef even if you can not swim.
DAY 3: Atherton Tablelands and Paronella Park
Finally, explore the magnificent World Heritage Wet Tropics Rainforest on this boutique tour through the Atherton Tablelands. In air-conditioned comfort, you’ll visit iconic waterfalls and natural wonders, including the popular Millaa Millaa Falls, where you can swim and capture the perfect photo amid stunning rainforests. The tour culminates at Paronella Park, Queensland’s top must-see attraction, where you’ll learn about its fascinating history, explore fairy-like gardens, and marvel at the hand-built Spanish Castle and its hydroelectric system. The day includes stops at Lake Barrine Crater National Park, Curtain Fig Tree, an a la carte lunch, and potentially a swim at Babinda Boulders.
